What we did, was once we said good night, prayers, gave hugs & kisses, and stated the rules (stay in bed!) LOL, when he would come out, we would put him back without any hugs, kisses, conversation. Just, picked him up and put him back in bed then walked out. Some nights, we had to take turns because we were so irritated. But after a few nights of staying strong, he hasn't given us any trouble since.
The main thing we tried to make sure to get across was that it wasn't a game (in and out of bed).
At first he would laugh like he was so smart! It didn't take long after we just started putting him back to bed that it registered. After about the 2nd night, if he snuck out we could just say, "Get back in bed" and he would scurry back to his bed and climb in. He tested it once a night for a couple of weeks. Then it was over.

If you do this approach, just be prepared. You might have to put her back to bed 10 times in 5 minutes in the beginning! It gets frustrating real fast, but stick with it, it worked for us.. I know, I know, you want to put the crib back up, but it is worth it in the end I promise!!
Good luck! Hang in there, she will get the hang of it! She is just testing boundries.Tesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11263722310327289732noreply@blogger.com
